USAFIS Customers Become DV-2015 Green Card Winners

Nearly 30% of this year's DV-2015 Green Card winners, within 52 leading countries, were USAFIS customers.  

The U.S. Department of State received 9,388,986 qualified Green Card entries last year for review. Approximately 125,514 of those applications were randomly selected as Green Card winners. As it turned out, the USAFIS Organization represented and registered up to 30% of those winning applications from across 52 countries. These nominees may now make an application for an American immigrant visa and pursue the "American Dream" as permanent residents.

Individuals have a 1.4% chance of winning the Green Card Diversity Visa Lottery, but that number doubles to 2.8% for married couples who submit a double application for each adult. With 1 out of every 72 Green Card applications getting selected by the America Government, the chance of winning a Green Card nomination is much higher than winning the national lottery where the odds of winning are 18 million to 1.

This year, 18% of all selected DV-15 winners from Venezuela were USAFIS customers. Another 19.6% of the selected applicants from Lebanon were USAFIS customers. USAFIS represented between 7-30% of the winning applications that came from Western Europe and between 8-25% of all winners from the Gulf region states.

Green Card applications must be submitted on time and according to strict program guidelines set forth by the American Government. Incomplete or incorrect applications are rejected by the U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Consular Affairs, which is in charge of the annual Green Card immigration program under the terms of section 203(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
