User Centric Hosts Webinar to Discuss the Importance of Interaction Design

CHICAGO, Feb. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- When developing a new product or reconsidering an existing design, there can be a strong focus on the "look and feel" instead of on how users will actually interact with the product or service. A true user-centered design approach includes both the interactions and the look and feel. Organizations can benefit tremendously when the end-to-end user experience brings these two disciplines together through a user-centered approach.  User Centric Inc's complimentary webinar, "Behaviors First, Colors Second: The Importance of Interaction Design," will tackle this topic on March 8 at 12PM CST.

During the webinar, Associate Director, Martin Ho, will dive into the theory and practice of user-centered design while highlighting the delineation between the Information Architect, Interaction Designer and Visual Designer.  The presentation will discuss the benefits and applicability of user-centered design activities, as well as tips on how to leverage the process within constraints.  Visit http://www.usercentric.com/webinars/importance-of-interaction-design to register.

The webinar is part of the series, "We Believe Experiences Matter," which began February 2 and consists of 16 presentations throughout the year. A variety of user experience topics will be covered including eye tracking, global research, and on March 27, "Medical Device Human Factors: Catching up to the FDA" will discuss the human factors validation process for medical device manufacturers.  Space is still available and can be reserved by visiting http://www.usercentric.com/webinars.
