USW Local 10-1 President Jim Savage comments on EPA's decision around RINS
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Philadelphia Energy Solutions USW Local 10-1 President Jim Savage comments on recent announcement by the EPA on RINS.
Jim Savage comments on announcement by EPA regarding Philadelphia Energy Solutions refining complex by saying: "We worked hard last year to save this historic refinery - against all odds - preserving the livelihoods of hundreds of refinery workers and ensuring the vital supply of refined products to the Eastern Seaboard. The uptick in RINS created great uncertainty for refineries across the country just as we got back on our feet. Thanks to the Administration's action, and willingness to listen to our views, the crisis will hopefully be behind us. We also appreciate the strong support of Governors Corbett and Markell, Senators Toomey and Casey, and Congressmen Brady and Meehan. The RINS market should return to normal operation and we can once again work with confidence to strengthen the future of the Philadelphia Refining Complex."
