WEST CHESTER, Ohio, Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) said today that members of the United Steelworkers (USW) Local 169 have ratified a three-year labor agreement covering about 280 hourly production and maintenance employees at the company's Mansfield (OH) Works.

The current agreement expires on March 31, 2014. The new agreement will take effect on March 31, 2014 and expire on March 31, 2017.
AK Steel produces flat-rolled carbon, stainless and electrical steels, primarily for automotive, infrastructure and manufacturing, construction and electrical power generation and distribution markets.
