Vapotherm Appoints Joe Army as New CEO

STEVENSVILLE, Md., June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Vapotherm announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Joe Army as President and CEO.

Most recently, Mr. Army served as CEO of Salient Surgical Technologies of Portsmouth, NH. He also served as the company's CFO from 1999-2006. Salient was acquired by Medtronic in August, 2011. Before Salient, Army was VP of Supply Chain Operations and Finance at Westaim Biomedical. He has a degree in history from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business.
