VeriStor Supports CURE Childhood Cancer Organization's Holiday Celebration
Company and its Employee Volunteers Unite in Support of Finding Cures for Cancers Affecting Children
ATLANTA, Dec. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- VeriStor Systems, an industry-leading virtual infrastructure and data storage technology solutions and services provider, today announced its sponsorship and volunteer support for the CURE Childhood Cancer organization's holiday celebration. Held on December 2, 2012, the 2012 CURE Holiday Celebration worked to raise financial support to help support children with cancer and their families through its extensive patient and family support programs.
"We are so grateful to VeriStor Systems for their extremely generous support of the 2012 CURE Holiday Celebration," said Kristin Connor, Executive Director, CURE Childhood Cancer. "The financial support is critical to our ability to provide much needed opportunities for the families we serve to have fun family time in an environment where everyone understands what they are going through. By covering so much of the cost with a sponsorship, VeriStor Systems enables CURE to continue to direct our funds to mission critical activities - finding cures for cancers affecting children - and still meet other needs of our families. We were even more excited to welcome VeriStor's employees to serve as volunteers at the party, interacting with our families, getting a glimpse into their worlds and showering the children with care and compassion. Truly, it was a win-win partnership in every respect."
"It is with great pleasure that we have engaged to support CURE Childhood Cancer and the wonderful programs they deliver," said Ashby Lincoln, CEO, VeriStor Systems. "Their organization is making a significant difference in the areas of pediatric cancer research funding and patient and family support and we are thrilled to support their efforts."
