Drouhin-Boss Will Autograph Purchased Bottles of Drouhin Wine

HARRISBURG, Pa., Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Veronique Drouhin-Boss, head winemaker for Domaine Drouhin Oregon, will visit PA Wine & Spirits stores in Allentown and Easton on Nov. 11 and 13, respectively.

Drouhin-Boss will sign purchased bottles of her Domaine Drouhin Oregon Arthur Chardonnay 2008, Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir 2007, Drouhin Cotes de Beaune-Villages 2007 and Joseph Drouhin St. Veran 2008. Complimentary tastings of all four vintages are open to customers 21 and older.

The signings will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the PA Wine & Spirits Store at 1516 N. Cedar Crest Boulevard Allentown on Thursday, Nov. 11, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the PA Wine & Spirits Store at 3718 Easton-Nazareth Highway in Easton on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Domaine Drouhin is a well-known name among wine connoisseurs.  The family started making wine in the late 1800s in the Burgundy region of France.  In 1987, Robert Drouhin, Veronique's father, bought a vineyard in Oregon and established Domaine Drouhin Oregon.  Veronique, who got her science of winemaking degree from the University of Dijon, was named head winemaker of Domaine Drouhin Oregon shortly after her father purchased the property. The vineyard consistently releases award-winning Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay.
