Vertellus Specialties Announces Price Increases on Wide Range of Pyridine Derivatives
INDIANAPOLIS, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertellus Specialties Inc., a leading specialty chemicals company, today announced price increases on a wide range of pyridine derivatives and quats sold into the personal care and consumer goods markets driven by sizeable and rapid upstream cost increases on feedstocks derived from crude oil. Effective April 1, 2011 or as contracts allow, Vertellus is raising prices for Cetyl Pyrdinium Chloride, Quats, CETATS, and Reilline® polymers. Increases vary by product line and range from 5% to 15%.
