Veterans Day Ceremony - Duty, Honor, Country
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Please join us on Tuesday, 11 November 2014, as the United Veterans' Council of New Mexico will host a day of celebrating New Mexico's Veterans.
The event will be held at the New Mexico Veterans' Memorial on Louisiana SE, beginning with patriotic music at 10:00 AM and the program at 11:00 AM.
Co-hosts are the City of Albuquerque and Kirtland Air Force Base.
Duty, Honor, Country will be the theme on the 11th, recognizing the strength that bonds veterans of all America's wars. The morning will provide camaraderie, song and ceremony.
Colonel Tim Hale, USAF (Ret) NM Department of Veterans Services, Cabinet Secretary will be our guest speaker.
Having a celebration for military service, Albuquerque's veterans represent all branches of the military ranging from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Cold War, Gulf I and the more recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Medals and ribbons will speak of courage, deployments around the world and battles fought.
