Viamedia Hires Allan Kass as VP/GM for Los Angeles Market

LEXINGTON, Ky., May 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Viamedia, the cable industry's leading independent cable rep firm, announced today they have hired Allan Kass as Vice President/ General Manager for their Los Angeles, CA market.

Kass will be responsible for driving local and regional business, providing support for the national sales teams, assisting in training efforts, driving focused sales events and delivering budget expectations. Additionally, he will work closely with Viamedia's Manager of Advanced Advertising to increase Viamedia Online Sales opportunities.

Kass comes to Viamedia with over 30 years experience in the advertising industry. His background includes: VP of national Sales for Time Warner in Los Angeles; General Manager of KHSC-TV in Los Ageless; VP of Sales for Turner Sports in Los Angeles; and Director of Sports and Marketing for KTLA Television in Los Angeles.

Viamedia represents the advertising sales for Verizon FiOS in the Los Angeles market.
