CARLSBAD, Calif., Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Dankberg, chairman and CEO of ViaSat Inc. (Nasdaq: VSAT), has been named Visionary Executive of the Year at the first annual Satellite Markets and Research Vision Awards in New York City. The award goes to the outstanding senior executive of a satellite company who demonstrated a keen sense of mission for his company and a forward-looking vision of where his company and the industry is heading.
