ViewPoint Financial Group, Inc. Announces Dates of Fourth Quarter Earnings Release, Conference Call and Annual Meeting

PLANO, Texas, Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewPoint Financial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: VPFG) (the "Company") today announced that it plans to release its fourth quarter 2012 results after the close of the market on Thursday, February 7, 2013.  The earnings release will be available on the Company's website, www.viewpointfinancialgroup.com.  The Company will also host an investor conference call to review the results on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 10 a.m. Central Time. Participants are asked to call (toll-free) 1-888-317-6016 at least five minutes prior to the call.  International participants are asked to call 1-412-317-6016 and participants in Canada are asked to call (toll-free) 1-855-669-9657.

The Company also today announced that it will be holding its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday, May 16, 2013.  The record date for determining who may vote at the meeting has been fixed as March 27, 2013.  More information about the Annual Meeting will be sent to Company shareholders in April 2013.
