Virginia Partners Bank Hires New Lenders for Fredericksburg and Southern Maryland
FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Virginia Partners Bank today announced the addition of two experienced lenders to its commercial banking teams.
Kevin A. Fastabend joins Virginia Partners Bank as Senior Vice President and will be based in Virginia Partners Bank's Fredericksburg office. Mr. Fastabend has over 35 years' banking experience. He was with Virginia Commerce Bank/United Bank since 2006. Mr. Fastabend is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is a resident of Fredericksburg, VA.
Beth Abbott joins Maryland Partners Bank (a division of Virginia Partners Bank) as Vice President. She will join the commercial banking team in La Plata, MD. Ms. Abbot has many years of lending experience, including 12 years with Mercantile Southern Maryland Bank and then with PNC. Ms. Abbott is a graduate of Central Michigan University and is a resident of Huntingtown in Calvert County, MD.

Virginia Partners Bank was founded in 2008. It currently operates three full-service branches in Fredericksburg and a loan production office in La Plata, MD. A full-service branch is under construction in La Plata, which is set to open in January 2015. This branch will trade under the name "Maryland Partners Bank (a division of Virginia Partners Bank)".
