She achieved this rank the same month ViSalus unveiled this new Promoter leadership level. The Diamond rank enables Wilson to join ViSalus' elite leadership ranks in the field and to earn up to $350,000 of the Ambassador Million Dollar Bonus.
Wilson hosted her first Challenge party after starting as a ViSalus promoter in December of 2010 where she introduced people to the benefits of the Body by Vi Challenge. With a sound business strategy and sheer determination, Wilson quickly worked her way up the Promoter ranks—while balancing a full family life with three children.
Wilson credits her husband for helping her successfully pursue a career while raising a family. "I have a very supportive husband who cheers me on and manages the kids," said Wilson. "I've learned to multi-task and make realistic goals. And yet, I've also had to sacrifice some personal experiences for professional accomplishments."
Her latest accomplishment is achieving Diamond Ambassador rank. "Knowing that I'm a Diamond Ambassador is a complete honor," said Wilson. "Now, my goal of reaching the highest Promoter ranks feels so much more obtainable. I'm laser-focused on becoming Royal Ambassador, and I know it will take massive action to develop and grow my team to get to that next rank."
Wilson is conscious of setting an example to mothers who want to work but fear it will impact their ability to parent their children. "I often tell moms never to use their children as excuses for not pursuing professional dreams. Even if you have less time with the kids, make sure that you're very present during that time. It's more about quality than quantity. You can be a source of inspiration to them and an example of not only how to set goals, but how to follow through with them. And, you can still volunteer in their classroom."
