Vitamin Angels and The Holistic Success Show Team Up to Save Children's Lives!

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitamin Angels has found a new partner to help combat childhood disease, death and blindness caused by malnutrition. For over 20 million children worldwide, this is very good news!

Vitamin Angels' Thrive to Five program currently distributes around 100 million doses of essential micronutrients annually within the U.S. and abroad. This support allows children to thrive during the first five years of life, which is the most critical time for physical and cognitive development.

Vitamin Angels' Operation 20/20 program addresses Vitamin A Deficiency (VAD), a major cause of child mortality and blindness. A simple, cost-effective capsule, taken just twice a year, is enough to prevent VAD blindness and decrease child mortality rates by 23% in areas served by the program. The program currently serves 10,000,000 of the 190 million children suffering from VAD, and this year's goal is to reach twice as many.
