SECAUCUS, N.J., Nov. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 17, 2015, the Department of Justice (DOJ) along with other federal agencies announced criminal and civil actions related to unlawful sale and advertising of dietary supplements against several manufacturers as well as executives associated with some of these companies. This announcement resulted from a year-long investigation that looked at potentially unsafe and tainted products that were falsely marketed as dietary supplements by third party manufacturers.
