ViVre Medical Donates Thousands of LifeGuard30(TM) Medical Information Devices Through Victory Junction Camp, Alzheimer's Foundation of America and Project Lifesaver International

PORTSMOUTH, Va., April 13 /PRNewswire/ --ViVre Medical, Inc. today announced three philanthropic partnerships as part of the company's $6 million charitable gift program. The program benefits thousands of children, teens and adults affected with serious illnesses and the families and loved ones who care for them.

• Through a new relationship with Victory Junction, a year-round camp for seriously ill children founded by NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and his wife Pattie, children who attend Victory Junction will be offered a free LifeGuard30™ mini-computer mobile medical records system from ViVre Medical.

• To help extend the invaluable work of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA), ViVre Medical will provide a free LifeGuard30™ device to the first 1,000 donors who contribute more than $100 to the AFA in 2010.

• In collaboration with Project Lifesaver International, which provides rapid response to save lives and reduce potential injury for those who wander due to Alzheimer's, autism, Down syndrome, dementia and other related cognitive conditions, ViVre Medical will provide 1,000 free LifeGuard30™ systems to needy people who would otherwise be unable to afford the protection this system provides.

LifeGuard30™ is a comprehensive, affordable emergency mobile medical records system that can add peace of mind, can save precious time in an emergency situation, and helps reduce the risk of medical errors by storing critical medical information. Designed to be clipped onto a keychain, a purse, backpack or a belt loop, LifeGuard30™ provides a simple way to store 30 pages of important medical information.  

LifeGuard30 is ideal for individuals who, as a result of a medical condition, may be unable to clearly communicate or remember vital medical information in an emergency situation. "Individuals with Alzheimer's disease experience symptoms that include loss of memory and communication skills as well as wandering behavior, which occurs in about 60 percent of all cases," said Eric J.
