V&M Unveils V&M's Design Atelier Pop-Up Lounge at Prestigious METRO Show; Styled by Christopher Coleman
NEW YORK, Jan. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- V&M (Vintage and Modern, www.VandM.com) is proud to present V&M's Design Atelier Pop-Up Lounge at the 2013 METRO Show, which opens with a preview evening on January 23 at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
V&M's Design Atelier Pop-Up Lounge is styled by renowned interior designer, Christopher Coleman. He combines his celebrated bold furniture, accessories, and style with the elegant lines and imagery from fellow Design Atelier designer Heather Maloney, and leading creative photographer of the 1960s Sam Haskins. The lounge will be located within the "Zigzag" wall installation created by ISSSStudio + deSc (the architect team of Igor Siddiqui and Deborah Schneiderman).
V&M, well known as an innovative marketing partner for leading designers, vintage showrooms, and antique dealers worldwide, will spotlight select furniture and accessories from its Design Atelier program; an exclusive series of newly produced limited edition and made-to-order products by top designers and architects. Before V&M's Design Atelier, such items were only available for designers' private clientele.
"V&M takes great steps to create compelling programs that grow the brands and sales of our partners," says Talis Lin, V&M's EVP Marketing and Strategy, "The esteemed METRO Show was the ideal venue to showcase Design Atelier in a pop-up environment."
The lounge is the latest live experience for V&M, following the successful furniture installations of V&M's Aspen Wonderland at Bonnie Young, TV Guide Magazine's Yacht at Comic-Con, SHOWTIME's The Borgias Unveiled, New York Academy of Art's Tribeca Ball, and more.
As the world's most distinct curated marketplace for unique design goods, V&M launches new Design Atelier collections every month from designers such as Christopher Coleman; VP of Design for King & Grove Hotels, Heather Maloney; Principal of BNO Design, Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz; and Principal of Marie Aiello Design Studio, LLC, Marie Aiello.
V&M's Design Atelier Pop-Up Lounge can be viewed at the METRO Show, January 23rd through the 27th, located at The Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, New York City. The METRO Show is produced by The Art Fair Company.
