Voicemails are Back; Voicemail Vault Launches This Friday, Breathing New Life Into an Old Solution

LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Voicemails are back.

VoicemailVault.com launches tomorrow, June 1, 2012. This user-friendly web-based solution allows anyone with a U.S. phone number to permanently save their most important voicemail messages from their cell phone, home answering machine and office message system, and seamlessly share them via Facebook or email. Users can also download their message to their desktop as an MP3 file.

Attorney and Portfolio Manager Jeffrey A. Sexton pioneered Voicemail Vault to preserve electronic evidence for cases and permanently save messages from clients and his four young children. However, Sexton said synergizing the service with Facebook and other social media will open it to unique applications and solutions.

"All voicemails are not equal in importance," Sexton said. "Some messages can make or break a lawsuit. Some messages may be the only existing recording of a deceased relative. Some are so important to us that they need to be saved forever or shared with a wider audience."

Before launching Voicemail Vault, Sexton commissioned a survey of 15,000 people across the nation. Their overwhelmingly positive responses fueled Voicemail Vault's development with several citing frustrating instances of lost messages due to their cell phone provider auto-deleting old messages. 71.2% of respondents said they felt the service was needed, would use it and would pay for it.

Voicemail Vault charges 49 cents to save a message up to 60 seconds and 99 cents for messages lasting between one and five minutes. Sharing features like quickly posting the message to Facebook or emailing the message are included at no additional charge.

According to The Wireless Association (CTIA) there are 331.6 million registered cell phone users in the United States.  The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) estimates there are six (6) billion global cellular subscribers.
