Those under scrutiny include the living and the dead, with fierce competition between Diana, the late Princess of Wales, Princess Grace of Monaco, Kate Middleton , Queen Rania of Jordan and even flame-haired prince Harry for the coveted crown of "most beautiful royal in history".  Likely contenders for "ugliest royal" include Henry VIII of England and Weight Watchers ambassador Sarah Ferguson .

The voting is open for seven days, with results announced on Tuesday 19th April.
