NORCROSS, Ga., Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Music fans have an additional reason to celebrate this National Waffle Week, September 4-10, with today's announcement of the release of WAFFLE HOUSE JUKEBOX FAVORITES VOLUME 2.
The CD is a compilation of ten songs that have been featured on Waffle House® jukeboxes nationwide including favorites "Bert" by Jason Phelps and "Save Me" by Kaitlyn Rogers. The CD is available for purchase at www.wafflehouse.com for ten dollars. Individual songs can be downloaded through iTunes and Amazon.
All proceeds from the sale of music from the WAFFLE HOUSE JUKEBOX FAVORITES VOLUME 2 CD benefit the Marcus Autism Center, the leader in research, diagnosis and treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).
"In the United States, one in 110 children is diagnosed with autism, which is a disorder not covered by most insurance providers," said Don Mueller, Executive Director, Marcus Autism Center, noting the center treated nearly 4,800 patients in 2010. "As one of the largest centers for the treatment of autism in the country, we are transforming the future by applying research to all we do. These donations will not only make the early diagnosis and treatment possible, but will enable us to help each family realize their child's true potential."
"Music is such a big part of the Waffle House experience," says Waffle House President Walt Ehmer. "We are very excited to help Marcus Autism Center raise money with our music and bring awareness to autism."
