Wagner Launches Revolutionary FLEXiO® 890 Portable Paint System
Spraying with more control and less fatigue and featuring self-contained storage
MINNEAPOLIS, April 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The FLEXiO 890 is the newest addition to the FLEXiO family of indoor/outdoor paint sprayers that helps DIYers paint for longer periods of time with less fatigue. With the X-Boost® turbine housed in the base, which stays on the floor, the sprayer is lighter and perfect for longer projects: a group of interior doors, a set of lawn furniture or even a long hallway.

Tackle a gamut of painting projects: indoor or outdoor, large surfaces or detailed work. The patented iSpray® nozzle sprays any coating and is ideal for painting broad surfaces. The nozzle is designed to turn thick paints into a controllable pattern with even coverage for painting wide areas fast. A Detail-Finish nozzle is included for small projects and fine finishing.
Apply any type of paint, from unthinned interior and exterior latex to oil-based paints, stains, sealers, and urethanes: The FLEXiO 890's X-Boost turbine provides three times the power of traditional units, providing the power needed to atomize paint for a smooth and even finish with any type of paint, even unthinned interior latex paint. Three controls – for airflow, spray pattern and material flow – all on the handle for making quick adjustments for desired results.
"We designed the FLEXiO 890 to make spraying less tiring over long periods of time," said Jon Beaton, Wagner product manager. "Our goal was to help consumers get their indoor or outdoor projects done quickly and with great results."
Change easily from one color or type of paint to another: Two nozzles and two paint cups come with the FLEXiO 890's Lock-n-Go system. A simple click and twist allow for the gun and cup assembly to be easily removed, allowing quick color or material changes.
Enjoy comfort and ease of use: In addition to helping reduce fatigue when spraying broad surfaces, the FLEXiO 890 is 50 percent quieter than traditional, airless sprayers and comparable to a hairdryer.
Clean up and store easily: The FLEXiO 890's nozzle and cup are quick to detach and easy to wash. For storage, the X-Boost Turbine is housed inside the sturdy "X-Boost Power Box," which also accommodates the hose and nozzle assemblies when not in use.
"With controls for the speed of air flow, width of the spray and fan pattern, the FLEXiO 890 can be used to paint broad interior surfaces without concern for overspray – and without the tedious effort associated with brushes or rollers. Prep work only requires basic masking," said Beaton.
MSRP for the FLEXiO 890 is $199 and available at home improvement stores and found on the retailer's online store. Visit wagnerflexio.com for additional information on FLEXiO products, and
