"Waikiki Yokocho," based on the concept of (dining) alleys in Japan called "yokocho" which is Japanese gastronomic culture, opened on December 1, 2016, as a completely new place for showcasing Japanese cuisine. While a 10% to 15% increase in the number of visitors is expected in the next business year, focus will be placed on efforts to raise its profile further and increase the number of visitors.
