Walt Helmick Receives Support of Pro-Life Group
CHARLESTON, W.Va., April 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The West Virginians for Life Political Action Committee (WVFL-PAC) has endorsed Walt Helmick in his race for the Democratic nomination for commissioner of agriculture.
"We commend Walt Helmick for working on behalf of the unborn while in the state Legislature," Wanda Franz , WVL-PAC president said.
Helmick has served more than two decades as a senator from Pocahontas County, including several years as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee.
"I am pleased to receive this endorsement," Helmick said. "It reflects my family values."
This is the latest of several endorsements Helmick has received.
