AUSTIN, Texas, July 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- After rigorous testing of new functionality, The Washington Secretary of State Elections Division certified the second major release of the Verity Voting system from Hart InterCivic on June 30, 2016.
Already known among Washington election managers for its speedy, scalable central scanning of by-mail ballots, Verity was first certified in the state in July 2015. This newest Verity release introduces enhancements such as more efficient ballot generation and expanded reporting capabilities.
"Certifying the latest Verity release in Washington demonstrates Hart's ongoing commitment to bringing innovative election solutions to the state," said Phillip Braithwaite, President and CEO of Hart InterCivic.
"With the majority of Washington counties relying on Hart technology for the success of their elections, the state's election needs matter to us. We have acted upon the input we've received from our Washington partners in designing and continuing to enhance Verity."
"Versatility is built into Verity; we've been in this business long enough to understand the changing nature of the elections landscape. As our customers' needs evolve, we are here to make sure they are covered," said Braithwaite.
