WealthTV Scores a 3D FIRST with a Doc Walker Concert

KELOWNA, British Columbia, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- WealthTV and CMT (Country Music Television) in conjunction with Corkscrew Media on July 20, 2010 recorded the first exclusive 3D concert of the country music award-winning artist, Doc Walker, in Kelowna, Canada.

Doc Walker, with band members namely Chris Thorsteinson, Dave Wasyliw and Murray Pulver, are often thought of as the hardest working country music band in Canada. They have won the Canadian Country Music Awards and had radio hits with the songs "I Am Ready" and "The Show is Free".

The 3DGuy, Al Caudullo, headed up the 3D production dream team which included Tim Dashwood and Mark Bone.

Tim Dashwood is the creator of Stereo3DToolbox and a 3D Stereographer.  He's also named as a Panasonic partner on the new Panasonic AG-3DA1. Tim, with the support of Panasonic Canada, supplied two of the AG-3DA1 cameras used at the event. This was combined with Al Caudullo's two Sony EX3 cameras on a parallel rig.

Like Tim, Mark Bone is a 3D Stereographer. He utilized a second Panasonic AG-3DA1 to do the close-up shots on the stage and capture the band in action in 3D.

Mark's previous 3D experience includes the recent demonstration of 3D for HM Queen Elizabeth's visit to Canada, where the Queen wore a jeweled pair of 3D glasses. Al Caudullo completed the trio of 3D stereographers in the production team. Al is also a consultant and an instructor. Al is producing 3D content for WealthTV's groundbreaking WOW! Travel series. Among his 3D accomplishments, Al has trained Panasonic's Singapore Lab personnel 3D techniques and 3D camera design.
