Webinar for Rural Health Care Providers Offers Insight into Funding Available through Federal Program
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Sept. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- As many rural health care providers seek creative ways to deliver top quality patient care with decreased budgets, a significant source of assistance that can help manage escalating technology costs is often not utilized. The Federal Communications Commission's Rural Health Care Program (RHC) enables access to and discounts for telecommunications and broadband services. Yet, only 26% of the program's $400 million in available funding was awarded last year and thousands of eligible organizations did not take advantage of the program.
On Thursday, September 25th, Solix, Inc. will host a complimentary webinar from 2-3 pm (Eastern) which will inform guests on how the program works and who is eligible to receive aid along with an explanation of the application process and examples of the benefits recipients have experienced. Visit the Solix Rural Health Care Webinar Registration page to sign up for this educational and interactive event.
Solix's 15 years of experience with the RHC program offers customers a unique understanding of program regulations and application guidelines. Webinar attendees will gain expert insights from two professionals with deep program knowledge: Ed Petroski, Director of Solix Grant Applicant Consulting, who has an extensive background in the program's procedures, and Eugene Sullivan, Program Manager in the Office of Telemedicine at the University of Virginia, who will provide an overview of the application process and program benefits from the perspective of a funding recipient.
Solix Grant Applicant Consulting features a roster of specialists to help eligible RHC institutions navigate complex application processes, understand program requirements, and maximize potential funding, including a 65% discount for eligible broadband expenses.
