Webster Bank Announces New EVP to Lead Middle Market Banking
WATERBURY, Conn., Jan. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Webster Bank announced today that Christopher Motl has been named executive vice president, middle market banking. He oversees all middle market commercial banking activities, including middle market lending, deposit gathering, and fee generation.
"This promotion recognizes Chris' demonstrated high performance and substantial contributions to Webster over the last 10 years," said John Ciulla, executive vice president, commercial banking. Motl, who joined Webster in July of 2004, was most recently senior vice president and director of middle market segment banking. With this promotion, he retains responsibility for sponsor and specialty banking.
Living up to the communities he serves, this resident of Glastonbury, Conn., is on the board of Special Olympics of Connecticut. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
