Westcon Group Teams with PeakColo to Help Resellers Channel the Cloud New Distribution Agreement Provides Global Partners Access to "Cisco Powered" White-Label Cloud Offerings

TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelerating its leadership as a value-added distributor of category-leading unified communications, network infrastructure, data center, and security solutions with a global network of specialty resellers, Westcon Group today announced the company's Comstor business unit has signed a distribution agreement with PeakColo, an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud service provider to channel partners.  The deal gives North American resellers the power to easily access business-critical Cisco Powered cloud services – along with a unique ability to "White Label" these offerings for customers.

The agreement provides a faster route-to-market for Peak Cisco Powered cloud services, helping channel partners build significant new revenue streams.  The "Powered by Peak" Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering allows access to the hypervisor and to a customer's backup and security platform-of-choice -- without an upfront capital investment.  Reseller-branded cloud solutions are based on FlexPod™, a proven data center solution based on Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), Cisco Nexus switching, and NetApp storage.
