Western Asset Protection and Brokers Alliance Join Forces

PHOENIX, July 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Western Asset Protection (WAP) and Brokers Alliance, two of Arizona's largest life and health insurance brokerages, announced a partnership to increase product selection, service and convenience for insurance agents in the Southwest.

Headquartered in Arizona, WAP is a family-owned insurance marketing organization founded in 1982. The company distributes Medicare supplement insurance and Medicare Advantage insurance products through its network of appointed agents. WAP serves more than 800 certified and credentialed advisors in several states. 

WAP's founder, Mel Rose, recently appointed his children Paul Rose and Mari Rose Tautimes to Co-CEO positions. The two have worked for WAP for the past 18 years. One of their first executive decisions was to diversify the company's portfolio to include life and annuity products.

Brokers Alliance, founded by Fountain Hills native David Racich, is one of the country's leading life insurance and annuity distributors. Based on this and other recent partnerships, Brokers Alliance plans to nearly double its employee base, from 60 to 120, in the next 18 months.
