Westlake Chemical Opens Singapore Office

HOUSTON, March 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Westlake Chemical Corporation (NYSE: WLK), the Houston-based petrochemical and building products company, announced today the establishment of an office in Singapore. The official opening ceremony for the office was attended by Westlake's Chairman, James Chao , and other company officials.

In speaking of this new office Mr. Chao stated, "We are excited to open this new office in Singapore to serve as a platform for our greater Asian and global strategy.
