Westpak Forms New Division in Response to Increased Demand for Material Analysis Testing

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Westpak, Inc., a world class independent test laboratory announces a new Material Analysis Division providing the evaluation of materials utilized in products and packaging specified by the life science, medical device, plastic film, corrugated, paperboard, military/aerospace, and other industries.

Westpak uses specialized equipment and a highly trained staff in the evaluation of materials per ASTM, ISO, TAPPI, ETS, IEC, UL, and related test standards. The firm's San Jose laboratory is one of the few on the west coast with TAPPI test capabilities.

The results of material analysis testing are one of the primary tools used in the evaluation of new and alternate materials, designs, and suppliers.
