"At Vanity Fair, we believe the right bra can truly change a woman's life by giving her a fundamental foundation and a renewed sense of self-confidence," said Karen Kendrick, vice president of brand communications, Vanity Fair Brands, LP. "Shoppers across the country can help give women that confidence by participating in Vanity Fair's Buy One, Get One [Free], Give One events this fall. When shoppers buy one Vanity Fair® bra in-store, they will get one for free and Vanity Fair will donate a new bra to Dress for Success on their behalf."
Vanity Fair will host Buy One, Get One [Free], Give One events at the following national and regional retailers this fall:
- Kohl's: Sept. 15 – Sept. 25, 2016
- Macy's: Oct. 7 – Oct. 16, 2016
- Bealls: Oct. 16 – Oct. 22, 2016
- Sears: Oct. 23 – Oct. 29, 2016
- Boscov's: Oct. 23 – Oct. 29, 2016
- Belk: Oct. 30 – Nov. 6, 2016
Vanity Fair will also host fit events at designated retail locations across the country where shoppers will have an opportunity to receive a free bra fitting from Vanity Fair fit experts.
"We are so grateful to Vanity Fair for joining us in our endeavor to help women thrive in work and in life," said Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success Worldwide. "Many of the women who reach out to Dress for Success are looking to get back on their feet and are often searching for a job. With the help of Vanity Fair, when selecting a polished suit for an upcoming job interview, women are now able to pick out a new bra to provide the right foundation and support needed to give them the confidence and encouragement to have a successful interview."
Gordon adds that while many women anticipate they'll receive clothing during the suiting process, they don't expect to receive a brand-new bra.
"Receiving a Vanity Fair bra is truly the highlight for many of our women and we thank Vanity Fair for their continued donations and support," said Gordon.
The partnership between Vanity Fair and Dress for Success began as a product of Vanity Fair's Women Who Do™ initiative– a powerfully uplifting campaign dedicated to praising and celebrating the everyday triumphs of women everywhere, while highlighting the brand's long-standing commitment to producing quality, elegant lingerie. Ultimately, Vanity Fair hopes to inspire women to support, encourage and celebrate each other.
