FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital ecommerce specialists WhyteSpyder and Signature Bank of Arkansas are partnering for an ad campaign that will feature WhyteSpyder's CEO, Eric Howerton, as a featured client of Signature Bank.
When Howerton and business partner, WhyteSpyder COO Alex Ahmad, started their business, they opened an account with Signature Bank. The account held only $850, which they used to start WhyteSpyder.
"It was a tough time. Exciting, but tough. We started with so little because we didn't want a loan. We didn't want a bank to own our business," said Howerton. "We needed to hold all the cards, and Signature Bank understood and respected that."
Signature Bank also had specific requirements when looking for the right client to feature in the campaign. Will Gladden, President of Signature's Fayetteville Market, thought that WhyteSpyder's process showcased Signature's strengths.
"Eric and his team are always on the go, and our people and products are focused on accommodating this type of customer," he said. "We help Eric and the WhyteSpyder team with our mobile banking products and our one-on-one personal service."
Howerton explained that, as with any business decision, careful thought went into choosing the bank that would handle WhyteSpyder's finances. "We went with the bank that would support us and find ways to help us reach our goals. So many banks view their clients by what they're currently worth," he said. "That's what makes Signature Bank. They recognize potential."
Howerton knew owning a business would be a challenge, but Signature has been there every step of the way: "We may have to jump hurdles to run our business, but we're lucky we've never had problems with our bank."
"Eric has a very interesting story and is well known throughout Northwest Arkansas. He is a young entrepreneur and part of a rapidly growing marketing and ecommerce business," Gladden added.
The campaign launched on July 24th, and hopes to showcase Signature Bank's online capabilities, and how the bank offers more in the way of digital banking solutions.
"The conveniences we offer allow our customers to do their banking from anywhere and focus more of their time on what's important in their lives," said Gladden.
