Williams Capital Strengthens Muni Presence With Sacramento Office And New Hires

NEW YORK, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Williams Capital Group, L.P, a leading boutique investment bank, announced today that it has recently hired public finance veteran Sean Boyea as a principal in the firm's newly created Sacramento Office.  Mr. Boyea will report to Jacqueline Knights, Head of Municipal Finance, and will manage the firm's West Coast investment banking operation.

Mr. Boyea, a 25-year veteran in public finance, previously held senior investment banking positions with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and M. R. Beal and senior strategic and financial advisory positions with Boyea Capital Markets and Public Financial Management.

In addition, Williams Capital has hired James Carter as a Vice President in the firm's Chicago office.  Mr. Carter, formerly with Jackson Securities, joins Williams Capital to increase the firm's coverage of clients in the Midwest.

Williams Capital also added James "Rick" Cahill, a 30 plus year veteran to its municipal sales team.  Mr. Cahill most recently worked at Lebenthal.  In addition, Peter Nahlen, formerly with Rice Financial Products Company and Donovan Hamlet, formerly with Halcyon Cabot Partners have joined as Associates.
