Wilton Manors' Island City Summer Camp offers Adventure and Fun for Children Ages 4 to 14
WILTON MANORS, Fla., March 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Make your child's summer a memorable one by signing him or her up for the Island City Summer Camp in Wilton Manors.

This seven-week program – Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 9 through July 25 at Wilton Manors Elementary School, 2401 NE 3 Ave., is for children ages 4 to 14 and offers participants a multitude of daily activities: arts and crafts, music, outdoor group games, dance, modeling, free play, board games, story time and reading, science-related activities, contests and special events on each Friday.
Each week, several optional trips will also be available for additional fees. Trips to Kabooms, Rapids Water Park and Boomers mean additional activities, including roller skating, recreational swim, bowling, cultural arts performances, movies and more!
"We understand that, even though children are off from school for the summer, parents still have to work. In its 25th year, the Island City Summer Camp program offers parents a great way to keep their children supervised and having fun," said Patrick Cann, Wilton Manors Leisure Services Director.
Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be offered daily and children will be divided into different age groups to participate in activities.
Adventurous Adventure Camp
Parents looking for fun-filled structure and supervision for the last few weeks of summer can sign up their children for Adventurous Adventure Camp.
Designed as a highly structured program, held July 28 through August 15, Adventurous Adventure Camp offers three-one week programs for children ages 4 to 14 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Island City Park Preserve, 823 NE 28 Street, Wilton Manors.
The numerous planned activities and special field trips include age appropriate movies, Water Day, Jungle Island, Metro Zoo, Miami Seaquarium, Funderdome, and more.
