Windhaven® Insurance Taps Accomplished Leader to Serve as Sales SVP
Maloney, former Allstate/Encompass Executive, joins growing Miami-based auto insurance carrier
MIAMI, April 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Windhaven® Insurance has named Daniel L. Maloney, an accomplished executive and the former Vice President at Encompass/Allstate, to serve as Senior Vice President of Sales for the Miami-based auto insurance carrier, Jimmy E. Whited, Windhaven® Insurance CEO, announced today.
Maloney's top priority, said Whited, is to respond to the needs of Windhaven's dedicated local independent agents in ways that will ignite their business.

A former Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Encompass, Maloney brings more than two decades of experience in building and managing high-performance sales and product development teams to Windhaven® Insurance.

During his tenure at Encompass, Maloney was responsible for all distribution and marketing functions including the management of approximately 2,800 independent agents and national brokers as well as some 100 field and inside sales representatives.
Maloney also spent 13 years at Kemper Specialty, most recently as Vice President of the South Central Region, where he was responsible for private passenger auto and light commercial insurance across a network of more than 2, 200 independent agents. He also has served in a managerial role at the Great American Insurance Company.
Maloney earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Texas Christian University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He also completed the Executive Education Program with high honors at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
