Wolk Announces Pre-Sale Details for Unstoppable Decentralized Data Exchange
SAN MATEO, Calif., Sept. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolk Inc. today announced details for the presale of their Token Generation Event on September 10, 2017. A total of 50,000,000 WOLK tokens will be made available for presale. Discounts will vary based on the date funds are received and registered purchasers will be able to participate by sending either USD or Ether.
The project's token, WOLK, will power the exchange of data between data buyers and data sellers, returning control over data to data buyers and sellers by enabling the disintermediation of the current oligopoly held by the likes of Facebook and Google. "Data is too important to be locked away for just a few powerful companies. Wolk changes this, by democratizing and decentralizing data exchange." says Wolk CEO Sourabh Niyogi.
Two months after announcing the launch of the data exchange, Wolk has already onboarded over 500MM datapoints about mobile devices and hashed emails and phone numbers, which are available and being bid on in real-time by data buyers. These volumes are expected to more than triple by Q4. The Token Generation Event comes at a great time where Wolk's growth is escalating and anticipation for the opportunity to purchase WOLK tokens intensifies.
Wolk already has presale commitments for over $8MM (22 MM WOLK), growing daily. The Open Sale period for the Token Generation event starts September 18 and ends October 9, 2017. Participants may register for the presale now and get on the whitelist.
