Dunlop, the leading international sport equipment and apparel brand, has today announced a new sponsorship with Worksop Angling. The multi-year deal will see Dunlop provide the team with its new range of fishing tackle.
Worksop Angling, founded in 1908, is a prestigious fishing club steeped in history and currently lies in 36th position in the Division 1 National League. The captain of the club, Ian Turner, won the Fish O Mania title in 1994. The sponsorship of a club such as Worksop Angling demonstrates Dunlop's commitment to the fishing industry.
Dunlop has recently launched a collection aimed at the beginner or casual angler with a selection of fishing tackle. The products, which are available from SportsDirect.com, aim to encourage consumers to try out fishing for the first time.
