Founded by Joshua Chaney, a former key grip on the hit show "Friends," California Frozen Poppers began with a 100-year-old family recipe for handmade caramel. Chaney devised a formula enabling the caramel to coat popcorn and be served frozen. The company took off after Chaney met Sulmaz Rahimpour, Vice President of California Frozen Poppers, while doing charitable work on skid row in Los Angeles. Together they run the West Hills-based store and international franchise.
