World's Most Important Mobility Trade Fair Closes With Successful Track Record
928,000 Visitors Came to the IAA
FRANKFURT, Germany, September 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
The 64th IAA Cars gathered speed once again on the home straight. Visitor interest climbed once more, especially over the last weekend of the IAA. The world's most important mobility trade fair that opened on 15 September and closes its gates at 7.00 pm on 25 September counted altogether 928,000 visitors. The number is 10 percent up on the figures for IAA 2009. "This stream of visitors demonstrates that for many people the fascination exerted by cars continues unabated", stressed Matthias Wissmann, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
