PHOENIX, April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) President Bryan R. Sperber has announced that Kimberly-Clark Professional and its WYPALL* Brand of heavy duty and general purpose cleaning wipers will be the title sponsor of the track's November NASCAR Nationwide Series race. The WYPALL* 200 Powered by Kimberly-Clark Professional is the first such race entitlement partnership for WYPALL* in NASCAR.
The WYPALL* 200 Powered By Kimberly-Clark Professional will be the feature event for the third day in PIR's November race weekend, the Southwest's annual fall celebration of championship-themed NASCAR racing. With the Nationwide Series title on the line, the green flag will drop on the WYPALL* 200 at 2:30 p.m. MST on Saturday, November 13.
"By partnering with an incredible facility like Phoenix International Raceway, we've taken a huge step forward with the brand's involvement in motorsports," said Stephanie Rossignol, Director for WYPALL* Wipers. "The race will play a major role in letting consumers know about our industrial wiping products, which are used by countless race teams to clean the toughest, most stubborn messes. This is an excellent fit for the brand and this sponsorship opportunity is central to our consumer outreach and brand-building efforts."
"Our team is extremely pleased to welcome Kimberly-Clark Professional and the WYPALL* brand to the PIR family of corporate partners," Sperber said. "We look forward to working with Kimberly-Clark Professional to host a thrilling event for NASCAR fans at Phoenix International Raceway this November."
