The mid-market thermostat, introduced this morning by Honeywell, makes it easy and affordable for consumers to add a connected thermostat to their home, and, with Yonomi, consumers can easily integrate this new device into Routines with their other smart home products.
The Honeywell Lyric T5 Wi-Fi Thermostat can be connected with more than 60 popular smart home devices supported by Yonomi and included in customized Routines that make home life simpler and more comfortable. Routines can be triggered automatically by time of day, your location or other preferences; manually through the Yonomi app; or by asking Amazon Echo to turn on a specific Routine. For example:
- A "Good Morning" Routine triggered at 6am could automatically adjust your thermostat, share today's weather on your Sonos, and start up your WeMo Mr. Coffee Maker.
- A "Leave Home" Routine can detect when you leave the house and automatically adjust the temperature on your thermostat, lock your doors, and turn off your lights.
- A "Movie Night" Routine could adjust the temperature to get your house toasty, turn on the TV and dim the lights.
