MUNDELEIN, Ill., Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Z Trim Holdings, Inc. (OTC: ZTHO), a bio-technology company providing value-added ingredients to a variety of industries, today announced the addition of Seth Cox as an independent consultant, to assist the technical sales staff in growing the company's successful food ingredient business. Seth's resume includes experience as a Senior Bakery Technologist at Nestle® and Regional QA Manager at ConAgra Foods®, where he worked in formulation, scale-up, process design, food analysis and product development.
"We are excited to bring Seth Cox on board," said Steve Cohen, Z Trim's CEO. "Our natural, multi-functional ingredients are unique to the food industry and require the knowledge and skills of technically qualified salespeople. We work closely with the food scientists and R&D staff at client firms to help them reduce costs and make healthier, higher quality finished products for consumers using Z Trim ingredients. Seth Cox not only speaks the language of food formulators, but he also brings with him the credibility of having worked for two of the world's largest food manufacturers, not to mention a rolodex of potential users of our products."
"Having a process-stable gel that is resistant to the most extreme conditions gives food processors a new set of tools," said Seth Cox. "The fat sparing character, neutral flavor, and no flavor masking, allows the use of these tools to solve processing issues and yet deliver better taste and nutrition. Z Trim ingredients lets us put the water where we need it, when we need it. I am looking forward to helping Z Trim realize some of its enormous potential."
