Zappos Launches First-Ever Celebrity Co-Brand: Melissa Rivers for The Cool People
HENDERSON, Nev., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Zappos.com, a leading destination in online apparel and footwear sales, announces its partnership with TV personality Melissa Rivers for the company's private label brand, The Cool People. Comprised of simple, yet fashion conscious styles all under $100, the spring/summer '12 collection was inspired by Rivers' desire to create apparel that would fit easily into her everyday wardrobe and busy lifestyle. Melissa Rivers for The Cool People will be the first foray for Rivers into the apparel market and is also the first-ever celebrity co-brand for Zappos.com.
The Cool People is an online marketplace at Zappos.com "("Zappos")" that fuses of-the-moment designers and celebrities. Zappos has previously collaborated with Stuart Weitzman, Steve Madden, and Trust Your Journey. Zappos was first introduced to Rivers through the hit show Celebrity Apprentice on a task she completed for the company.
