Zeel Acquires MassageNow

NEW YORK, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Zeel, the company that invented Massage On Demand® and brings same-day, in-home massage to consumers, announces the acquisition of MassageNow from parent company Locality. The acquisition allows Zeel to significantly increase its market share in New York City and San Francisco, while rapidly growing its Zeel Spa offering. MassageNow, which partners with high-end spas to fulfill last-minute spa massage appointments, launched in 2014.

MassageNow's customers will be introduced to Zeel's core offering: on-demand, five-star massages, delivered 365 days a year by licensed, vetted massage therapists to homes, hotels, workplaces, and events, in as little as an hour. Instead of searching for last-minute spa appointments at brick-and-mortar establishments, MassageNow customers will be able to have the spa come to them, as early as 8am or as late as 10:30pm, seven days a week. Zeel Massage On Demand is available in 32 cities and their surrounding areas in the United States, with more to come.

MassageNow customers will be migrated to Zeel effective immediately, where they can use their existing MassageNow gift credits to book in-home Zeel Massages in any Zeel location, or purchase a monthly in-home spa massage membership through Zeel's subscription program, Massage Zeelot – the first and only in-home monthly massage program.

In addition, the acquisition further extends Zeel's recently launched Zeel Spa offering. MassageNow's curated roster of spa partners will gain access to the Zeel Spa platform, offering MassageNow spas Zeel's legendary customer service and the ability to order top-level massage therapists to their spas. "Zeel works with some of the top spas in the country, from the Hamptons to San Francisco, and we're looking forward to welcoming MassageNow partners into the fold," continues Hamadeh.
