ZINO Green Companies Chosen to Vie for $50,000 Fund

SEATTLE, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Fifteen Northwest companies have been selected to present their newest "Green" ideas, products and technology to a roomful of investors and business leaders at ZINO Society's ZINO Green Investment Forum on February 24 in Portland, and March 4 in Seattle. A $50,000 fund will be awarded to the company deemed the best investment opportunity in the areas of clean technology, energy efficiency or sustainable products or services.

Although an annual tradition in Seattle, this will be the first time ZINO Green is held in Portland. "ZINO Green has always drawn an enthusiastic investment audience because of the quality and diversity of entrepreneurs in the Green space," notes Cathi Hatch, ZINO Society Founder and CEO. "We expect a good turnout in both Seattle and Portland because there are strong angel investment communities in both locations and the Northwest is known to be passionate about the environment."

Accredited investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders are invited to attend ZINO Green Investment Forum. It will be held from 1:00-6:00 at the law offices of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt in downtown Portland, and at the same timeframe in McKinstry's Innovation Center in Seattle. There will be five-minute presentations by 15 entrepreneurs, plus keynote speakers and panelists in both venues.
