Vintner Hall of Fame inductee Miljenko "Mike" Grgich surrounded by his vineyards in Rutherford, CA. A documentary about his life "Like the Old Vine (Kao Stara Loza)" produced by Croatian Radiotelevision premiered in the US at the 2012 Napa Valley Film Festival. The film also won the Grand Jury's Special Award at the 20th annual Oenovideo International Grape & Wine Film Festival in Carcassonne-Miervois, France in June. Grgich was born in Desne, Croatia and his contributions helped transform the Napa Valley into one of the greatest wine regions of the world. He recently celebrated his 90th birthday on April 1.
