RIO DE JANEIRO, March 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Amil Participacoes S.A. (BM&FBovespa: AMIL3; Bloomberg: AMIL3 BZ; Reuters: AMIL3 SA), the largest healthcare operator in Brazil, announces that it was paid, on this date, the 2nd issuance of debentures, from March 2010, at the amount of R$ 158.9 million, out of which R$ 150 million related to principal and R$ 8.9 million to interest.
This settlement is aligned with the Company's strategy of debt profile extension. To make this payment, were used proceeds from the 4th issuance of debentures, occurred at the end of 2011.
