"Brand It Blue Day will be an amazing day of service where our franchise locations can come together for one great cause to help the community," said Bob Funk, CEO and chairman of the board for Express Employment Professionals. Express franchise owner Mike Hefner, in Indianapolis, has teamed up with the local Softball Lassie League to help fill a Living Bread Food Pantry truck full of necessary items. Another office trying to reach their goal of filling a pick-up truck full of non-perishable food items is in Rocky Mount, N.C., where the local Express representatives are donating to the Christian Fellowship Homes Food Pantry. In Redding, Calif. Express has teamed up with The Good News Rescue Mission to donate necessary food items to feed the hungry. On the other side of the country, Express in Warwick, R.I. has teamed up with the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and has already collected more than 37 Express tote bags and 24 boxes full of food. Due to the success of the Brand It Blue campaign in the greater Providence area, the local Warwick office has extended the food drive through the summer. Another successful campaign is taking place in the South Bend and Elkhart, Ind. areas where local Express offices are working with the community to donate food items to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
